1. Overview of SnapIt Service

SnapIt allows job seekers to upload screenshots or descriptions of job postings, automatically extract role details and recruiter contact emails using AI, match the opportunity with the candidate's uploaded resume, and send personalized application emails directly from the user's connected Google/Gmail account.

2. Google & Gmail Data Access and Scopes

When you sign in or connect your Google account to SnapIt, we request permission via Google OAuth 2.0. We request the following specific scopes:

• email & profile: Used strictly to authenticate your identity, retrieve your primary email address, and manage your SnapIt account session.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send: Requested when you explicitly choose to connect Gmail to send application emails.

3. Storage of OAuth Tokens

When you authorize SnapIt to connect your Gmail account, Google provides an OAuth access token and a refresh token. We store the google_access_token, google_refresh_token, and token expiration timestamps securely in our database attached to your user profile. These tokens are used solely by our automated background worker system to execute email dispatches that you request without requiring you to repeatedly log in.

4. Information We Collect & Store

In addition to Google OAuth authentication data, SnapIt collects and stores:

• Candidate Resume Data: PDF documents you upload to provide context for AI-generated application emails. Text extracted from your resume is stored securely to power job matching.
• Job Submission Data: Screenshots, company names, job roles, and recruiter email addresses extracted from your submissions.
• Processing Logs: History of processed outreach jobs and email dispatch timestamps.

5. How We Protect and Retain Your Data

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data:

• All data transmissions between your browser, our servers, and Google APIs are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3).
• OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in private, restricted database storage.
• Uploaded files (resumes and job screenshots) are stored in secure private storage volume mounts with strict access controls.
• We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal data, resume content, or Google account information to any third party.

6. User Control, Disconnecting & Data Deletion

You maintain full control over your data and connected accounts at all times:

• Disconnecting Gmail: You can disconnect your Google account at any time through the SnapIt dashboard or by revoking SnapIt's permissions directly in your Google Account Security Settings.
• Data Deletion: You may delete your uploaded resume or account data via the dashboard settings. Alternatively, you can request full account and data deletion by emailing our support team. Upon receiving a deletion request, all associated OAuth tokens, resumes, job history, and account records will be permanently purged from our servers within 30 days.

7. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

SnapIt's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
